Easter weekend is fast approaching. So it’s no surprise that some couples and families are thinking of getting away for the Easter break. A perfect opportunity to have a mini vacation. Chicago is in the state of Illinois and sits on Lake Michigan. It is one of the largest cities in America. There is no getting away from its overwhelming skyline of tall skyscraper buildings. But there is more to this city than meets the eye. It’s also famous for its museums. The Art Institute, in particular, is well worth a visit. It’s easy to get around, and there is plenty to see and do.
Seattle is a city surrounded by water, mountains and evergreen forest. Making it a unique city escape like no other. It is affectionately known as the emerald city because of this. It is a metropolitan city with it’s most unique landmark being the Space Needle. No visit would be complete without heading to the top of it. You get 360-degree views of Seattle. It’s an experience not to forget.
Dallas, in Texas, is a bustling and modern city with art and culture at the heart of it. With many museums and art collections to discover. There is a huge collection of Asian art that span’s 100’s of years. Getting around the city is easy. This wonderful city is in the north of California. It’s a beautiful city. From the iconic Golden Gate bridge to its colourful Victorian houses there is a lot to marvel at. There are the cable cars to enjoy as well. San Francisco is known for its year-round fog and hilly landscape. There is also Alcatraz Island, famous for being the notorious former prison. New Orleans is known for its vibrant nightlife and live music scene. Based in the state of Louisiana on the Mississippi River. Its food scene has a real fusion of influences from French, African and American cultures. It’s a truly fascinating city that will inspire you. If you are into your French cuisines, then the French quarter must be on your hit list of places to see. While you are there, over Easter, you can catch the china lights at New Orleans City Park. A mesmerising display of colour and vibrancy.
