Start by creating a menu for the meals of the week and then the grocery list of the items you will need. Buy items in bulk whenever you can as sometimes you can save more by doing this. Stick to your grocery list to avoid impulse purchases.

If you have time, you can do all of your cooking at the beginning of the week. freeze your meals to be eaten. Then you can heat the frozen meals up and have quick and easy meals.

3. Look for sales

Take a look at sales at the grocery stores near you to see what is on sale. You can plan your meals accordingly to what is on sale for the week. Consider joining loyalty clubs at grocery stores to get exclusive deals and earn rewards.

4. Hunt for coupons and promo codes
