The Stocking Blessing Letters a Fun Family Tradition

1

Each year on Thanksgiving we write notes to each other of why we are Thankful for each family member, on Valentines day we write notes of what we love about each family member. This year a new tradition I thought would not only be fun but encouraging to each family member is “Stocking Blessing Letters”. Letters that we will write to each person saying why they are a blessing to us, we will then place them in their stockings during the week that leads up  to Christmas and then on Christmas eve we can open our letters and read them during our family dinner and watch each persons face light up as others share why they are a blessing.

Be sure to explain to your family that they can write these letters over the  days leading up to Christmas eve and allow them to choose the paper to use or you can provide them with Christmas paper and envelopes.
