Fall-Simmering-Stove-Top-Potpourri-by-TheCasualCraftlete.com_Enjoy the warm smells of the season with this easy Fall Simmering Stove Top Potpourri.

Here’s a recipe from The Casual Craftlete:

In a small sauce pot add 2 to 3 star anise, which has a licorice scent, 3 cinnamon sticks, 3 to 5 dried bay leaves, 1 tablespoon ground cloves, and the peel from 1 orange.  Fill the pot to the top with water.  Place the pot on the stove over very low heat.  The potpourri will come to a simmering boil and let it go until all of the water has evaporated.  You can continue to fill the pot with water and let it simmer on the stove all day.
