Let’s face it parents, your child’s safety is the most important thing bar none. It’s not something you want to fool around with. Another thing that shouldn’t be fooled around with (especially by your kids) is electrical sockets. I’m not kidding. 2,400 children suffer severe shock or burns every year from outlets. Now while that number may not seem THAT incredible high, in my opinion that’s 2,400 cases too many. Thanks to a resourceful parent who had a frightening experience with their own child removing the “child proof” covers off their electrical outlets, there is now a way to ensure your child’s safety.
Let me introduce you to the PINCH Safe Outlet. Never heard of it before? There’s a good reason for that. PINCH is so new it’s still in prototype stage with a crowdsourcing campaign just kicking off on Ingiegogo. This patent pending product is designed to keep children away from open sockets and the potential for electrocution, which I think you would agree is a very good thing. And unlike the flimsy plastic covers that slide into your existing outlet, PINCH is a full outlet cover which automatically keeps your outlets closed whenever they aren’t in use. It only takes a minute to install, then it does all the work. Could it get any better? The answer to that: yes, yes it can. PINCH also has a beautiful design. It is sleek, minimalist, and will not draw attention to itself. Personally I think they look very cool and would probably install them even without kids.
So what are you waiting for, check out PINCH’s Indiegogo campaign and pre-order one for every outlet in your house! No, really, you never know where your kids will crawl into when your back is turned (yeah, even there). Let’s make child electrocution a thing of the past.
