Cream Cheese and Smucker’s Fruit & Honey Fruit Spread Crepes #ad #FruitAndHoney

Smuckers 5 I love a delicious, thick slice of homemade bread with a thick layer of jam first thing in the morning. With Smucker’s Fruit & Honey Fruit Spread (made from all natural ingredients: no high fructose corn syrup, no sugar) I can eat toast with jam again with a clean food conscious!

I tried Smucker’s Fruit & Honey blueberry lemon spread for the first time this week and I can’t get enough of it. When I first opened it up, I grabbed 2 multi-grain crackers to spread it on, and then two more, and then two more again! I took one bite and returned to my childhood. I couldn’t believe that it tasted just like my Mom’s homemade blueberry pie. We’d go out picking wild blueberry’s on the plains all afternoon and when we got home my Mom would make this delicious homemade goodness in a flaky crust. Each bite of the new blueberry lemon Smucker’s Fruit & Honey Fruit Spread transports me back to my Mom’s kitchen.

I think this spread will be a great option to give me a little sweet treat after meals too in those moments where I just need something small and simple for my sweet tooth. Without sugar or high fructose corn syrup, I can enjoy the sweetness of the berries and the honey without guilt. It would also make a great topping on a homemade ice cream made with honey or agave. I would love to try this mixed in with one of our batches this fall!

If my guilty pleasure of toast and crackers with jam is too simple for your tastes, here’s another favorite your family might enjoy:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and the eggs. Gradually add in the milk and water, stirring to combine. Add the salt and butter; beat until smooth.
  2. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each crepe. Tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly.
  3. Cook for 2 minutes or until the bottom is a light brown. Turn and cook the other side.
  4. Spread cream cheese and Smucker’s Fruit & Honey Fruit Spread down the center of each crepe. Roll and serve.
