Back to School Morning Routine Organization Ideas #ad #fuelforschool

Jimmy Dean 2  Getting our kids back into the daily routine of school let alone switching from long Summer night s to early bedtimes can be a challenge with our school age kids. However as moms we also know the benefits of happy kids who had a good night sleep and feel organized before they arrive at the school desk. We also know as moms the need to be organized and ready when that school bell rings. But where do we begin and how do we get our kids back in the routine of school?

From what to wear and eat, to requests regarding where to go and what to do, moms are bombarded with tons of questions while trying to get their children out the door. Sometimes the morning routine can be complete chaos. How do we eliminate the stress and get our children off to school in peace?

Over the years I have discovered some tried and true tips that have taken my home from chaotic morning routines to peaceful morning routines. Here’s how I handle the madness by prepping the night before:

Jimmy DeanPlan easy breakfasts in advance. Try to keep breakfasts easy for you and your kids with fast breakfast solutions. Decide what your family will eat and prepare as much as possible by setting out necessary items the night before. Two easy breakfast solution for your family are Jimmy Dean® Sausage, Egg & Cheese Croissant Sandwiches & State Fair® Classic Corndogs—always available at an Every Day Low Price at Walmart in the freezer aisle. They are easy to throw in the microwave for a quick, good source of protein breakfast.

Lay out their clothes. Have your children pick out there outfits after they complete their homework each evening, while school activities for the next day are fresh on their brain. Be sure to include undergarments, accessories and shoes.

While your children are completing their homework, be sure to do yours. Sign all necessary documents, including planners and school notes, and place them back inside your children folders or backpacks.

Go over the calendar of after school activities for the next day with your children. Have them pack the needed items for their activities, including weekly folders, library books, gym clothes and snacks, and set by the exit door. All items will be ready to grab-and-go in the morning.

Prepare lunches right after dinner. After clearing the dinner table, take the time to also gather food items for lunch the next day. Fill lunchboxes with non-perishable items and prepare refrigerated items so they are ready to be removed from the refrigerator and placed in the lunchbox in the morning.

Take 10 minutes to do a nightly pick up. Do the last of the dishes in the sink and pick up dirty laundry, toys, and other items left around the house. This one step will start your morning off fresh with a clean start.
