We all dream of being able to spend more time with our children, while also still being able to make money. Working from home is the ultimate goal for most. It means that we get to be there for our kids, at the same time as bringing in extra funds. However, finding work from home opportunities can be difficult. Especially when it comes to finding legitimate ones. We’ve put together some unique (and legit) ideas for all moms to make money from home.
1. Blogging
Mommy blogging is becoming an increasingly popular way of making money nowadays. While it may take a little while to get started, the rewards can be great. Not only will companies come to you for reviews of their products, but you can also make money from ads and sponsored posts. You also get the chance to write about all of the hilarious things your children do!
2. Getting Crafty
Do you have a creative mind? If so, you could be making a fortune from arts and crafts. Many people now make things to sell on marketplaces such as Etsy. There are so many different things you can make, as well. From soaps to brooches, it’s completely down to you. You could even rope the kids in to help out.
3. Teaching
If you have a particular skill, then you could make a fortune teaching it online. There are dedicated websites that allow you to teach different subjects, to eager students. Even speaking English is a skill that you can teach others! You don’t have to be a fully qualified teacher to run a course. You just need a little bit of confidence and some serious knowledge.
4. Bitcoin Mining
Experts believe digital currency is going to grow in popularity over the next few years. It’s a good idea to get on the bandwagon now if you want to make some money out of it. You’ll need a fairly decent computer and a high speed internet connection. If your connection is running slow decide on one of these high speed Internet plans instead. Once you’ve signed up with a mining group, you can then just let your computer do the hard work for you.
5. Sell a Service
This is another area that has become hugely popular with work-at-home parents over the years. If you have a specific skill, then you may be able to sell it as a service. Can you write? Take incredible photos? Edit like a pro on Photoshop? Whatever you can do, there will be a demand for it somewhere. Websites such as Fiverr let you sell your services to business owners around the world.
6. Surveys and Cashback
If you don’t have a lot of time and just want to make some extra cents, then this could be a good idea for you. Plenty of companies are looking for your input, and that’s where survey websites come in. You just answer some questions and make a few cents – sometimes even dollars. You can also use cashback sites for when you make purchases online. These aren’t going to be huge money earners, but every little helps.
