Perfect set up for grandma’s house – Pack ‘N Play with a portable napper and changer

gracoWhen I want to get away from the everyday monotony of life I head for grandma’s house. It’s a place of good snacks, lots of love and a very ready babysitter. I don’t want to be lugging all my baby supplies back and forth, and so we got a Graco Pack ‘N Play Playard with a portable napper and changer to set up at grandma’s.

It requires quite a bit of assembly, it might have been helpful if grandpa had an engineering degree- but it was a fun bonding experience getting it all ready and in the end it was worth the work.

Now I have a nice clean place to change the baby- a place that grandma’s little dog can’t jump on and a safe spot away from grandmas nice upholstery for those extra special diaper changes. We keep ours set up in her family room.  The changer/ napper is one reversible piece- One side is a mini change table and the other is a little bassinet. I can easily switch between the two depending on what I need. It clicks into the Pack ‘N Play, but it can also stand on its own and be used separately.

When we are done playing for the afternoon and ready to head back home all of the baby’s toys and books can be stored inside the Pack ‘N Play which makes clean up really easy.

As a new mom I have been overwhelmed by all of the baby furniture and supplies available- this one purchase takes care of so many needs! I like that the changer/ sleeper is so portable and can be used as a mini travel bassinet.  We are a family on the go and it is a lot of work traveling with an infant, but this makes traveling that much more simple.  So whether it’s an afternoon at grandma’s or a weekend away the Graco Pack ‘N Play with a portable napper and changer is the perfect solution for this new mom.
