Valentine’s Day has gone to the dogs…literally! Valentine’s for Dogs – Say I LOVE YOU with treats!

I like connecting with my dogs and showing them how much I love them throughout the year, but what about on Valentine’s Day? Valentine’s treats are not only for people, but also for our beloved pets. Why not include your dogs in special occasions and share a special moment with them?

This year, let’s celebrate our wonderful animal companions by making February 13th Valentine’s Day For Dogs (#valentinesfordogs). On this day, we make sure we’re also giving our pups the attention they deserve. How? I might take them out for a special walk at their favorite dog park, buy them a fluffy and comfy pet bed, or give them Milk-Bone dog treats. How will YOU connect with your dog this Valentine’s Day for Dogs?

The good folks at Milk-Bone, Pup-Peroni, Milo’s Kitchen, and Canine Carry Outs have made it easy for you this year with a doggie Valentine’s Day card.

  1. Three of the four states in which I have lived are represented in the infographic among the top ten states who love their dogs. Yay! I’d like to think I had a little something to do with that.

  2. A perfect day with my pet is to spend time with him by taking him for a walk, petting him and giving him his favorite treats!

  3. I live in the state in Washington that is number 3 on the list for loving dogs. I also like that 86% of all dog owners tell their dog that they love them once a month! That is me. I am always telling my dog I love him.

  4. Our 2 dogs definitely make our lives richer. Only 86% find comfort in their pets? Hmmm…would have thought it would pretty much be 100%!

  5. Oh a perfect Valentines would be a nice long walk for my dog, followed by a new toy and bone! Curling up on the couch for lots of tummy rubs while I watch a movie!

  6. Oh on the info graphic I love that 86% of people tell their dogs I Love You at least once a month! So wonderful for the dogs!!!

  7. I disagree with the findings of the info graphic. I think all dog owners love their pets, not just those in wealthy popular states. Surprised to see how few people let their dogs sleep on their beds all the time. Our dogs rule the bed. 😉

  8. Loved that people tell their dogs “I Love You” at least one time a month. At our house it is almost daily, but even once a month love declarations are good love.

  9. It was funny about the men and women that preferred a doggy date rather than a people date on Valentine’s Day, LOL!
