Did you do this, did you do that, did you, did you , did you? I often felt like a broken record asking my kids if they did their chores and other responsibilities from home work to brushing their teeth. Years ago I created a very simple no frills check off list for my kids. I included everything from Brushing their teeth, practicing piano, to household chores, packing bags for the next day and anything else I had to always say did you, did you, did you about.
Once my list was created I placed them on clip boards (one per child) – it now became their responsibility to check off their daily to do list of all the did you’s. It worked, I was no longer a broken record and they took ownership and responsibility of their own to do’s by checking them off each day. (OK, most days that is)
Now iMom has created a daily kids check list with a little more frills and color then my original list that you can download and print for FREE – for each of your kids and get them to begin daily check off lists.
