WIN – $100 AMEX Card #ad #AirLossIsBad

Disclaimer: I have teamed up with Sealed Air in support of this campaign. We received compensation for participation in this campaign. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I’m getting ready to travel to be with family for the holidays and my excitement is growing. Being with my large family is always exciting as all 20 of us pile into my parents, not so large, home. The days are full of food, fun and late nights playing games and laughing at fun family memories. Then we all settle into whatever corner of the house we can find and the unlucky couple gets the old inflatable mattress. You know the one I’m talking about- that 20 year-old dark blue blob of misery. The one that holds so much promise right when it’s first blown up but 20 minutes into the night you realize that half of your body is already hitting the floor and you can hear the air leaking right next to your head. In that moment, air loss is bad… very bad!

Sealed AirAir loss is also bad when it comes to your precious Christmas packages.  It’s so frustrating to find out that the perfect gift you found for great aunt Martha shattered in the mail because the packaging material you used didn’t measure up.  As the original inventor of Bubble Wrap® packaging, Sealed Air has spent decades mastering the art of protecting what’s precious to you, mostly through the power of air. Bubble Wrap brand cushioning retains nearly 50 percent more air than single layer polyethylene alternatives, thanks to a multi-layer barrier 100 times more resistant to air loss. A higher initial thickness and fullness allows Bubble Wrap brand cushioning to fill more void around your valuables than competitor materials — enabling you to ship smarter with less cost, material and waste. This superior air retention enables multiple reuse for later shipments without sacrificing cushioning strength or performance.

  1. I hate losing air in my car tires! I’ve never been good at holding the gauge and reading the small print trying to put air in at the gas station,

  2. I went on a three mile bike ride with my daughter and son in law on our local greenway. We just got to the point where we were about to turn around and go back towards where we parked, and I ran over a nail and got a flat. I had to walk it all the way back and was exhausted!

  3. My husband and I were renovating our bedroom so we had an air mattress in the floor to sleep on. After a couple of nights, it went flat and we had to sleep on the couch. No fun!!

  4. I have had all kinds of expience with ir loss! The worst was a tire, I was dressed up so I couldn’t change it if I had wanted. It was puring down rain and I was stuck on an interstate in an area I didn’t nowanyone. Thank Gosh for AAA!

  5. It was National Donut Day & I was driving to a store that was giving away free donuts to celebrate…but I had a flat tire! Talk about #AirLossIsBad ! Luckily my Allstate Roadside Assistance changed my tire to my spare – the donut! So I drove on my donut to get my free donut!

  6. No matter how many different air mattresses we buy and try, they always seem to lose air and we end up sleeping on the ground by the morning.

  7. We came out to our car at a public place and discovered not one but Two flat tires. There were some nails in them that we figured must have come off a truck that had been doing some construction work and were left on the street. Not fun as we only had 1 spare tire!

  8. With asthma, the term air loss brings on a certain amount of panic. Tire blowouts on the interstate are an extreme loss of air that I got out of without collision with any other car.

  9. I use a wheelchair and have pneumatic tires. You might be able to imagine how hard life becomes when one of those tires is punctured. Ugh.

  10. Leaky tires can throw a curve ball at your plans, and a leaky air mattress can leave you on the floor, but when my cotton candy gets squished, so does my spirit.

  11. Our tire lost air……………..in the harsh winter last year and my husband had to get out and change it in the blustery COLD!

  12. I drove a lot distance and spent a lot of time trying to fill an air mattress with a leak. Needless to say, I did not sleep well
