  1. This is a great tip! It really does work, we tried it.
    It works especially well if you don’t set the bananas down on top of, or next to each other. It is surprising how many people don’t know about this tip.

    To add a little to it, if the bananas ARE still getting a little spotty & you’re not sure if you’ll be able to use them….peel them, wrap in plastic wrap and toss ’em in the freezer. (They won’t turn brown, don’t worry) They’ll keep this way almost-indefinitely, and you can use them to make healthy banana “Chia nICE-Cream” in the blender later, or for stuff like banana bread and smoothies. With these tips combined, you’ll never feel bad about wasting another banana in your home!
