MOM Tip: You know that nastiness that accumulates on your slow cookers’ heating element (the inside part). Sometimes it gets very neglected. Here’s a great tip for cleaning it.
All you need is one can of oven cleaner.
Spray an even coat of the oven cleaner on the heating element. Let it sit a couple hours. Then use a scrubbing sponge to remove.
