 Fall is in the air and I’m getting excited! I love fall. There is something glorious about the smell of freshly fallen leaves, the crisp breeze, the brilliant colors, fresh produce and the crunch of leaves under my feet. I can’t get enough of it! I was watching leaves fall from the trees today and thinking of planning a fun outdoor Halloween/Harvest party to celebrate the season. Try serving a few of your dishes in hallowed pumpkins. While you’re carving pumpkins with your kids, gut out a few extras. Just place a Halloween themed towel inside to make it the perfect bread basket or chip bowl.

Inner and Outer Warmth:

Keep your guests warm with a fun bonfire. Don’t have enough chairs? Try to see if you can get a few hay bales to add a festive feel. Warm your guest’s insides by serving a soup bar and hot apple cider. Add some warm appetizers from Farm Rich like their mozzarella sticks or breaded mushrooms.

Unique Candle Holders:

Create a magical ambiance with a a large array of tea lights in DIY candle holders. Try carving out little hallows in apples and small pumpkins and gourds to place tea lights in for a natural harvest look. Hang globed string lights around the yard for added ambiance.

Natural Decor:

Fall is full of natural beauty. Collect acorns, pine cones, leaves and unique branches to add special touches to your displays. Add some fun spiderwebs to add a spooky touch. Burlap is great for this time year. Try to add a burlap banner to welcome your guests to the festivities!Don’t forget to add a few jack-o-lanterns and gourds for the final touches in your party!
