Also headlining the celebration is a pop-up replica of Central Perk, the neighborhood coffee shop frequented by the characters on Friends. Located in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood at 199 Lafayette Street (at the corner of Broome Street), the Central Perk commemorative pop-up shop will serve free cups of Eight O’ Clock Coffee and feature authentic memorabilia including the iconic orange couch and improv musical acts reminiscent of Phoebe’s “Smelly Cat.” The pop-up shop will be open to the public September 17 – October 18.
