I didn’t think I would finish college. I did one semester at a local community college right out of high school and then just wasn’t sure if it was worth my time and money to finish my degree. I thought that it was ridiculous for me as an 18 year old with no experience to try to discover what I wanted to do with my life. Instead of continuing on, I went on a journey of self-discovery to find myself. Later on I realized that I did want to finish strong with my degree. I went back and now I’m so glad that I did. I learned a lot about myself in that season and felt a major sense of accomplishment when I walked across that stage and they handed me my degree.
