MOM Tip: Have you ever had a hot, buttery fresh ear of corn at your local fair? So amazingly yummy! Ready to know the secret? It is as simple as bringing your water to a boil in a stockpot, then place six to eight ears into the boiling water. Boil for two to four minutes. Just before they are done boiling add 8 tablespoons of butter (sliced), drop the butter slices into the corn’s water, stir to melt. The butter will float and each ear of corn will be coated in butter as you remove it. Do not add salt to boiling water as it toughens the kernels and be sure to use tongs for easy removal of the ears of corn from the stockpot.
