“Think About It” – Let’s Try it Again

thinkToday I was searching on the 24/7 MOMS website. Yes, even I read our posts and look back over the years of articles for ideas, inspirations, recipes and how to’s when it comes to being a mom.

I came across the below post and thought WOW! – somehow I totally forgot that I had launched this new idea of sharing quotes that get us to think about it. I suppose being the mom of 5, moving to a foreign country and trying to keep up with a busy life  overtook my brain and this new idea of a Column we would call “Think About It”, never really began.

Hopefully as a mom you relate to my forgetful brain and possibly even have your own stories of forgetting something you had intended to start.   In my opinion we each have the ability to start again, start fresh and move forward.  So today let’s try it again…I am officially starig our “Think About It” Column once again by re=posting the first one tat launched it a year ago.

Do you ever see quotes and the stop you right where  you are and really make you think about what they are saying?

I’m sort of a quote collector I save them in my computer, write them in journals, pin them on Pinterest and of course share them on Facebook.  Why?  because when I read these quotes they make me stop and think about my life , my family, my day to day decisions, my walk with God, my future and so much more.

It occurred to me the other day that Quotes can also be great conversation starters here on 24/7 MOMS or great words to inspire and challenge us. So, as I come across quotes that I’m adding to my Quote collection I thought I would also  share them here in a new Column we will call “Think About It.”

Our first quote is  ” You become like the 5 people you spend the most time with” – “Choose Carefully”.

Stop and take inventory of the top 5 people you spend the most time with  – Do they encourage you?  challenge you? do they live their daily life the way you would want to live yours?  are they bringing you up or down? do you walk away feeling better about your self or worse about yourself,  after you have spent time with them?

Remember to choose carefully.
