MOM Tip: Here’s a fun and easy Easter craft to make with your children.
You will need the following:
- White Paper Cups
- White Construction Paper
- Pink Construction Paper
- Wiggle Eyes
- White Pipe Cleaners
- Pink Pom Pom (1/2″ size)
- Easter Filling (we used paper filling)
- Plastic Eggs
- Scissors (child friendly are best)
- School Glue or Glue Stick
- Hot Glue & Hot Glue Gun
Assembly of these treat cups is pretty simple and even the younger kids can get into this project. Here’s the simple steps to creating your neat little Easter or Bunny Treat Cups:
- Starting with your white construction paper, cut out 2 ears for your bunny.
- Using the pink construction paper, cut out 2 smaller ears that will be the inside of the bunny’s ears.
- Apply the pink inside to the white ears using your school glue or glue stick.
- Affix your ears to the INSIDE of your cup with a small dab of hot glue.
- Take your white pipe cleaner and cut it into 4 smaller pieces, these will be your whiskers.
- Apply a dab of hot glue to the front of the cup where you will place the whiskers and nose.
- Set the whiskers in place.
- Use another small dab of hot glue on top of the whiskers to affix the nose.
- Just above the nose, add 2 more small dots of hot glue for your eyes.
- Add filling to your treat cup and enjoy!
