When it comes to hosting a baby shower for our girlfriends, we all want to plan a special party to celebrate the soon or recent arrival of the new baby. Planning means choosing a theme and what food to serve, along with choosing fun games to play. However, as a busy mom I also know the need to simplify our party planning. One way to simplify is to head over to the Walmart.com website, where you will discover baby shower games, many of which are available both with in-store pickup and online.
To get you started in your party planning, let me share a few of my favorite baby shower games:
Don”t say “BABY” game:
As each party attendee arrives place a Wilton baby rattle necklace on them them and tell them the goal of the game is to not say baby through out the party and to get others to say it so that you can steal their necklace. Whoever collects the most necklaces at the baby shower wins

Guess the Baby food:
This game is fun to see who the experienced moms are by identifying a variety of baby food flavors. For this game you will need 8 to 10 jars of baby food such as green beans, pears,bananas, apples, peas, carrots, beets, squash, etc. You will need to either remove the labels or cover each jar with paper. Next you need to number the jars either by writing a number on the jar or placing them on a tray with a number tag in front of the jar. Be sure to make a master answer sheet so you remember which number goes with what flavor baby food, for example, #1 = Carrots, #2 = apple etc. Provide each party attendee with a sheet of paper numbered with the number of Jars they need to guess the flavor of. When it’s time to play ask each person to look at each jar and guess what flavor it is by writing down their guess next to the number on their sheet of paper. You can play this in teams or individually competing against one another. After everyone has written down their guesses reveal the true flavors. The person who guesses the most correct flavors wins.

Guess the Mommy’s Tummy Size
This game will make guests guess! Guests will mark and cut the ribbon to match their guess of mom-to-be’s tummy size. At the end of the shower; mom-to-be makes the actual measurement and announces which guess is closest.

Baby Necessities From A To Z Baby Shower Game
Need a fun activity for a girls or boys baby shower? Here is a fun game to entertain your guests. Just hand out these sheets you can purchase at Walmart with your own pens or pencils. Your guests will have a lot of fun, and the new mom can also make use of the suggestions for her own list of must-haves.
