potMOM Tip: Ready to get rid of that stubborn burnt food from your pot? Just add few drops of dish soap, cover the bottom with water and boil on the stove for a few minutes. You can also put a teaspoon-full of dishwasher detergent, cover it with hot water and let it sit overnight.

  1. I’ve used this tip before and works very well, but, I’ve found another one that works better for me. Same pot very dirty and dried stick on food right? OK I’ll put a dryer sheet from a half for regular stuck stuff up to a whole if VERY dirty into the pot. Fill it with hot tap water and boil for 5-10 minutes. Not only does it remove all the grime, but it leaves a nice scent in the air of the dryer sheet. I normally get lavender because it smells outstanding. But it’s personal preference.
