My son just started first grade. I’ve read to him nightly since he was born. I’m so impressed with how fast he’s learning to read himself, it’s so exciting. Our favorite books are, Llama Llama books. Keep reading to your kids!
My family loves We Give Books. They aren’t just hundreds of e books for your kids, they donate a book for every book read on their site to reading charities, schools and libraries all over the world. My son and his team were able to procure 250 high quality, Leap Frog easy readers and board books for his school during their read for my school campaign last spring. I credit WGB with motivating my son to learn to read just so he could help children who actually wanted to read but didn’t have nice books to read. He has dedicated a significant portion of his blog to WGB and its library. The books are mostly for early readers and preschool, however there are fabulous books for grade 3, 4, and 5
