History Hero App

History Hero is a unique, interactive and fun way for children and families to experience the world’s top historical sites. The first app of its kind, History Hero was designed to encourage learning at the world’s top historical sites including New York, Washington, D.C., Minneapolis, London, Paris and Rome. History Hero puts the user in the driver’s seat of a battle to save Earth’s history from the Erasers who want to take over the world. Users are sent on a mission at each historical destination to save 10-20 artifacts at the location, learning the history and importance of each along the way.

Mitch Zamoff, a lawyer, law school teacher and father of three, came up with the idea for History Hero when he was traveling in Europe with his family.  He wanted to make family trips to historical destinations more engaging, interactive and memorable. History Hero is designed for kids age 4 and up and is available for Apple devices.

  1. Personally, I think food is a good way to get kids excited and interested in history- recreating interesting feasts such as the Last meal on the Titanic: A typical “tea” ( dinner) in third class, for instance.

  2. I think the apps is a great way to learn or a different way to learn (to me easier). Wish we had apps to learn from in school

  3. This app looks very interesting.I love that there are still fun ways for kids to learn about history.I am very excited to try it,just thinking that my computer is so slow that it would be more frustrating for my kids than fun.

  4. Entered and tweeted .. I think the tweet link is still linked to a Kroger ad though?? Kind of a weird tweet .. 🙂 @Cammi72
