More information about : Sandra Lee’s World’s Largest Bake Sale

Kmart has been a longtime supporter of efforts aimed at supporting the health and well-being of America’s children. Continuing that tradition, Kmart and SHOP YOUR WAYSM (SYW) are joining forces with Sandra Lee to support Share Our Strength’s Bake Sale for No Kid Hungry™, a national fundraising initiative that encourages people to host bake sales in their communities to help end childhood hunger in America. With over 16 million kids who go hungry every day, Kmart and SYW are proud to support this important effort.

To raise awareness about this campaign, Kmart and SYW are sponsoring the “World’s Largest Bake Sale” hosted by Sandra Lee from 10 a.m. to 7p.m. on Wednesday, May 1 at Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Ty Pennington, Bobby Flay, Emeril Lagasse, Guy Fieri and Buddy Valastro are just a few of the celebrities who will be co-hosting the event. Proceeds from all baked goods sold will be directly donated to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign and the Food Bank for New York City. Check out shopyourway.com/bakesale for exclusive pictures from the event.

If you’d like to get involved, register online to host your own Bake Sale for No Kid Hungry and receive a free participant kit. If you raise $250 or more, you will receive select items from Kmart’s Sandra by Sandra Lee collection. You can also visit kmart.com/bakesale to make a virtual donation, access bake sale recipes and share a virtual recipe card from Sandra Lee.
