How to get your kids to eat healthy and Win $1000 #TysonPickyEaters

The BIG question is how can we Getour kids to eat healthy?

My Solution allow them to play with their food.

Playful eating creates healthy eating. New research shows that “playing with food” can be a good thing, as long as it’s part of getting kids to eat right. Fun at mealtime is a great way for families to connect and interact

Let’s get playing:

#1 – Kabobs for dipping: Have a DIY Kabob night by placing out a selection of kid friendly items to be placed on a kabob skewer.

Some ideas for your Kabos are:

Tyson Chicken nuggets

Meatballs

Mini corn dogs

Steak in bite size pieces

Large french fries

Cherry tomatoes

Large pineapple chucks

Chunks of cheese

Then offer an assortment of dipping sauces such as BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, ranch dressing.

Kids will love the ability to make their own kabobs to then dip and eat as they remove each piece from their kabob stick.

#2 – Pizza Silly Faces: Allow their artistic talent to come out with the fun of making their own pizza faces with toppings.

Use either toasted English muffins, pre-made mini pizza crust or refrigerated biscuits rolled out as your pizza crust.

Use store bought pizza sauce and an assortment of toppings such as:

Grated cheese in your choice of flavor

Olives

Pepperoni

Italian Sausage

Cut up vegetables

Pineapple

Now let your kids create their own silly faces and then bake and enjoy.

#3 – .Cookie Cutter Fun: Use your child’s favorite cookie cutter shape to create a fun sandwich or grilled cheese. Before filling the sandwich use the cookie cutter to cut out the shape then fill and serve or grill. Allow your kids to help cut out the various shapes.

#4 – Finger meal – Serve an entire meal of finger foods including fruit, veggies and don’t forget Chicken Nuggets are also fun to eat. Kids enjoy the bite-sized, friendly shapes – easy to hold, dip and pop into their mouths.
