Keeping Track Of Gift Cards

giftWe receive, stash and lose them, but do we ever use them?  I’m talking about those valuable plastic cards referred to as “gift cards.” According to Plastic Jungle, there are approximately $30 billion of unused gift cards lying around our homes. That is an average of $300 per household!

I pile my gift cards away in a disorganized basket often forgetting to take them with me when stepping out for a shopping trip, vacation or dining experience. Here are a few steps that have helped me keep my gift cards at an arm’s reach!
