
This could possibly just be the easiest recipe you ever make in your crock pot and possibly the most loved by your family and guest.
Three Envelope Crockpot Roast Beef
recipe adapted from Six Sisters Stuff and Deep South Dish
Ingredients:
Chuck Roast or other braising roast
One envelope of dry onion soup mix
One envelope of dry Italian dressing mix
One envelope of dry brown gravy mix or Au Jus mix
One to two cups water
Salt and pepper to taste
Sliced cheese for sliders
Grilled onions for sliders
Directions:
Brown-Braise the roast first if desired
Place Roast in crock pot
Whisk 3 envelopes together with one cup or more of water and pour over roast in crock pot
Cook for approximately 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low, or until the roast is fork tender. The cooking time will depend on the size of your roast.
Serving Instructions:
Serve as a meal with mashed potatoes or as slider sandwiches on buns with caramelized onions
