Freezer Cooking For The Holidays – DIY Freezer Fries

Save time and your sanity by using freezer meals for your upcoming pre-holiday meals – Today’s DIY Frozen Fires can be made ahead and placed in the freezer ready to bake and serve for a quick meal during those busy days before or after the holidays.

DIY Freezer Fries

Ingredients
Potatoes, cut into quarters
Directions
– Boil large pot of water
– Cut potatoes in to quarters
– Place potatoes into boiling water and blanch for 1 minute
– Drain potaoes and allow to cool and dry
– Flash freeze by placing on a cookie sheet and in to the freezer. (single layer)
– Once frozen remove from freezer and place in to freezer zip bags, marking the bags with date and contents.
– Place back into freezer until needed.
Cooking day
 Bake at 425 for 25-40 minutes  or  deep fry each batch for 3-4 minutes .
