Have you been watching the Olympic Swim Trial? They are fast, furious and amazing if you ask me. This past weekend while sitting at the community pool I asked one of the young boys what he thought about the Olympic trials his response to me was that ” They are so AMAZING” – I suppose that sums it up we have some amazing Olympic bound swimmers Who will they be:
Here is my report thus far of the AMAZING Olympic Swim Trials:
Michael Phelps won the 100-meter butterfly yesterday with a time of 51.14 seconds – it is now predicted that he will pursue another eight gold medals in London this Summer. Will he? what do you think?
Missy Franklin will now swim in seven Olympic events after winning the women’s 200-meter backstroke yesterday in 2 minutes, 6.12 seconds. At the age of 17 years old she has qualified in three other individual events , the 100 and 200-meter freestyle and the 100-meter backstroke, and will participate in three relays. WOW!
Tyler McGill held his breath in the final 10 meters of his 100 butterfly race to snag his seat on the 2012 US Olympic swim team coming in 2nd place to Michael Phelps what an AMAZING race it was.
Who else will be joining them on the team? As of my writing this article the following swimmers have officially qualified for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team.
