Mom Tip: Don’t Toss The Box

Mom Tip: When you purchase  a new item Keep the Box that it came in for one year ( the length of the warranty). Just in case the item is faulty or breaks and  you need to ship it to the manufacturer for repairs or replacement.. Store your empty boxes in your basement or garage.  Be sure to write the date  on each box either when you purchased it or when  one year is over so you know whens it’s time to discard the empty boxes.

  1. That’s funny because I just had this problem yesterday. Something I bought two weeks ago just seemed to fall apart in my hands. So of course I tossed the box out. Ugghhhh!

This is also a good idea to use for the kids’ toys. I have found original boxes useful if I wanted to donate the toys a few years down the road or even post them on eBay or something. Another great way to provide some memories for your children as they get older if the toys are in the box they came with.

Maybe I should actually do that. Easy to say and type. lol
