Which is why we said YES to participating in the Orville Redenbacher’s SmartPop  “Healthy Snacking Challenge” and swapped out SmartPop! our other usual sweet and high calorie snacks .

My kids are typical junk food loving kids and with the final school bell about to ring for Summer vacation I have begun thinking about what snack items to stock my pantry shelves with for those snacking moments each day –  when searching out new healthy alternatives I was excited to discover that Orville Redenbacher’s SmartPop was one I could stock my shelves with not only is it just 100 calories per 6 cups and is 94% fat free, 100% whole grain, which mean 3 cups of Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn provides an entire serving of whole grain and it’s good for you! It comes in both butter and kettle corn flavors both of which are my families favorites.  Did I mention it is  Also available in the Pop Up Bowl™ which are totally cool.
