Ready to coupon? Jennie and Annie from GH Savers shared these 10 tips on this weeks 24/7 MOMS Live webcast:
1. Choose 1-2! Find a blog you love and can relate to. There are so many out there. Stick with it, they follow a rhythm.
2. Have a plan! Compile your meal plan & shopping list before you get to the store.
3. Be consistent! Get out there each week and keep at it until you have success. It can take 6-8 weeks to build a decent stockpile.
4. Be ethical & Be NICE! It goes a long way. Be kind to the checkers, the other shoppers, etc.
5. Get organized! REVAMP your precious pantry. Clean it out and own it!
6. Stockpile! Your items should be purchased at LOWEST possible prices.
7. Try new things! Branch out and work with what’s on sale.
8. Have a buddy! Share victories. Purchase a large quantity of an item to save on cost and split it up.
9. Outsource meat to farms! Eliminate the cost of the middle man by buying your meat locally. Farms in Enumclaw, Port Orchard, and via the company Zaycon are all fabulous options.
10. Be Loyal! Be loyal to one grocery store & one drug store (within reason) for continuity and customer rewards.
