How many times do you hear “Mom, I want that” “Mom, can I have that please, please please!” “I have to have it” “I promise to be good”. Can you guess what I am talking about?? Yes, that darn grocery shopping with the kids. What we all dread. I mean seriously, don’t you think the grocery stores would all wise up and all put a play center in them with day care service. Cause I know when I drop my kids off at one of those I spend way more money then if I have my kids with me and I coupon too! If I have my kids with… coupons, forget about it. I am lucky to get what I came for.
So I was doing some research online to see across the United States on the different grocery stores when I started realizing that there are some pretty cool ones out there… lots of kid friendly ones. Can I say I am SOOO jealous! Where I live which is about 45 minutes from Seattle, the only kid friendly store is Fred Meyers. Cause they have that day care area that you can leave them in there for an hour! Of course I am always late. I am afraid they are going to cut me off one of these days. 🙂 The other one which is not a grocery store is Ikea. But that is all I know.
What I was thinking is doing a Poll… lets see what is out there. I want to know in every state what GROCERY store is kid friendly and why. This is also good for when people travel with our kids. We can take notes and only go to those stores. 🙂 See.. there is another reason for all of this. That and I just want to know what I am missing out on!!
*So please leave a comment with City and State you are from and the grocery store and what makes it kid friendly.
Then I will put them all together and lets see who has the most fun state!!!
