Create A Family Journal

By: Kristen Mason
To encourage writing, we’ve started a Family Journal. We’re all writing a minimum of 1 sentence after dinner.  It’s reallyjust the news of our day.  Spelling does not count, but everyone must trytheir best.

This offers us (the parents) a chance to model appropriatespacing, capital letters, and think out loud about what we are writing (ideas, sounds, etc).

That’s it – pretty simple!
