I was sent an e-mail from one of our readers with the question above.
This reader is not alone. This issue also occurred in the Corinthian church. One spouse would turn to Christ, but the other did not. Paul encourages those spiritually single with this scripture:
1 Corinthians 7:14a states for the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife.
The believers faith when acted out in the home had an enormous influence over the entire household. There is hope that everyone would eventually make there own personal commitment to Jesus.
- Live Out Your Faith
Let your husband see the difference Jesus has made in you.
- Allow God to work on your HeartPray that Jesus will create you into the woman you were meant to be. Let Him work in you to bring out love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self- control.
- Submit
Allow your husband to be the head of your home. Consider his opinions, make what he cares about important to you and treat him with respect.
- Stay Quiet
We like to talk our way into anything as women, however if you want to win your husband to Jesus, be quiet. You cannot talk your way or “nap” your husband into his salvation.
- Give your Husband Compliments & Encouragement
If you want to see your husband grow and change, life him up! Encourage him, tell him thank you, and show him your appreciation for all that he does.
