Each December I look forward to our family baking day,we have a long list of cookies and treats we not only enjoy baking but eating during the Christmas season.
Three of our favorites we make each year are:

I often go searching for a few new recipes each year and the one website that I have over and over again found many new simple and yummy recipes is the Nestle Family site.
Here is an example of a fun, creative and simple one you can make with your kids The Very Merry Cookie Wreath . Watch the below video for complete instructions. Then you can click here to get the recipe.

wandered thru the Nestle recipes and found several caramel apple recipes. I would like to try the Butterfinger Caramel Apples. Butterfingers is a classic candy bar that lends a crunchy coating that is different from what you normally find coating apples.
I forgot to add my cookie related share. We always have Snickerdoodles over the holidays. In the Nestle recipes I found Flourless Chocolate Fudge Crinkle Cookies which sounded very tasty.
