Friday Fun Day – We are finally back to our weekly Friday Fun Days after taking a break during the Christmas holidays.
Today my boys opened their lunch boxes to notes attached to a treat ( candy from their stockings), the note informed them it was Friday Fun Day and to hurry home after school.
Our Friday Fun today/night is going over to our friends house and hanging out, maybe even a sleepover for the kids. We will make dinner together, let the kids play while we moms chat it up about life. My kids love hanging out with friends so this will definitely be a highlight this weekend.
* Friday Fun Day – Each Friday I create something ” FUN” for my kids. My goal is to encourage them to keep up on their family responsibilities ( chores) , homework, daily reading etc. and on Friday we celebrate with a treat. It can be as simple as placing a fruit by the foot in their lunches with an attached note saying “Happy Friday Fun Day” or more elaborate with a family outing or at home movie night.
