WIN: God is with me books

At some point along the mom journey I am sure we have all experienced the words of one of our children saying “Mommy, I’m scared , I’m afraid or I’m frightened” only to them take time to assure them they are safe. Wouldn’t you love a tool to help you teach your children that God is always there with them?

When I was asked to review and share with the 24/7 MOMS about two news books, I knew right away these would be the perfect tools for us moms to use in sharing with our children about how God is always with them. And I was right they are simple to read and understand and have fabulous illustrations on every page.

Julie Cantrell is a mom and author who first created the picture book, God is with Me through the Night, to help her own daughter navigate the fears she faced at bedtime. Soon, neighborhood moms and preschool teachers requested copies of the book to help their own children. That’s when Julie realized the book might help many young children overcome their f
This story assures children that God is always near and that he is their protector who never stops caring for them all day through.

God is with Me through the Day
For a child, so many things can happen in one day. Sometimes the world outside is a scary place. There is so much to be discovered and understood and at times the adventure is simply overwhelming. This story reminds kids that God is always present. He is a protector who never stops caring for all children each day through. With comforting pictures of lovable critters that seem to have similar feelings and an engaging message, children will be assured that God is always near.

God is with Me through the Night

This story is one that parents will love reading to their children to remind them that nighttime may be frightening, but they are always in God’s safekeeping.

In this book, furry friends reveal that even the biggest and bravest of God’s creatures feel frightened sometimes. This comforting story allows parents to build stronger bonds with their children while reminding readers of all ages that fear, loneliness, and hopelessness can be alleviated when we put our trust in God. The story ends with an easy-to-remember Bible verse that teaches children about God’s love. “Fear not, for I am with you” (Isaiah 41:10).

Visit Julie’s blog site for more information about the books and the author. You can also network with other moms and read encouraging stories on their facebook group, God is with Me through the Day and Night. Hope to see you there.
