Great sites! Our family (scratch that). . . I love Freecycle and tell friends and family about it all the time. It is a wonderful way to pick up or get rid of things that may have been thrown away otherwise. Great example: Our house was built in 1968, and had a huge wall of those 1'x 1' gold marble mirrors in the family room. While I liked the feeling of extra space the mirrors provided, they really dated the house. I took down over 126 square feet of these mirrors, and only a few broke. I didn't know what to do with them, but didn't want them to end up in the garbage dump, so I listed them on Freecycle. Another user was SO excited to come pick them up and use them in his home! It was a win for both of us, our community and the environment. 🙂
