In celebration of National Family Game Night on September 23, 2009we have teamed up with
Hasbro games to giveaway a few of our families favorite games and new ones we can’t wait to tryout on National Family Game Night.

Monopoly City 3-D

Build on every Go and watch your city fortune grow! In this metropolitan edition of MONOPOLY, be the top property developer and watch your dream city rise before your eyes. What will you build– houses or industrial complexes, schools, skyscrapers or stadiums? The choice is yours. But watch out—a rival developer could build a sewage plant right next to your prize property and make its value plummet! So build wisely and rake in the rent… and the prestigious MONOPOLY tower could be yours!

Features 80 3-D buildings so you can develop your MONOPOLY property. Includes gameboard, 6 movers, buildings, 22 District cards, 25 Chance cards, 6 Reminder cards, 1 Rent Dodge card, 2 dice, 1 money pack, 1 trading unit and instructions. Requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). For 2 to 6 players. Ages 8 and up.

Scrabble Slam

SCRABBLE SLAM is a fast-paced word game where anything could happen! Race against each other to change the existing four-letter word and get rid of your cards. “Game” could become “fame” and “fame” could become “fate”—you never know where it’ll go. Be the first player to get rid of all of your cards to win!

Monopoly Deal Card Game

Get ready for a fast-paced, addictive card game where your luck can change in the play of a card! Collect 3 property sets, but beware Debt Collectors, Forced Deals, and the dreaded Deal Breakers, which could change your fortunes at any time! MONOPOLY DEAL is the card game where anything can happen!


Pictureka

Find it fast! Find it first! Pictureka is the exciting game of visual hide & seek. Collect the most mission cards to win! Place the 9 game board tiles on the table in a 3 x 3 grid. Players than take turns rolling the dice, selecting a mission card and trying to find objects fast or first. Three different card decks keep the game exciting — players either have to find a matching image or objects that fall into a category like “things that can fly”. And watch out, the gameboard can change on any turn — special mission cards instruct players to turn over, rotate or switch one of the 9 gameboard tiles. In this game its finders keepers: you get the card if you find the object fast or first. Collect enough cards to win, and you’re the Pictureka champ!

The Dangerous Boys Game

You’ve been shipwrecked on a deserted island with nothing but your wits and some string to save you. Thank goodness you’ve been reading your Dangerous Book for Boys! Use your skills to complete solo or group challenges, test your knowledge of facts from the book or put your mental agility to the test. Each success wins you a puzzle piece so you can “build” a raft and sail off the island. The first adventurer to travel along the whole track and complete their raft can sail away into the sunset in victory! The amazing adventure game based on the best-selling book! Includes gameboard, 90 one-man challenge cards, 70 group challenge cards, 40 resource cards, 20 flag cards, 24 tracking sticks, 32 stars, 20 raft pieces, 10 cardboard planets, 4 wooden pawns, 4 folders, 1 piece of string, 1 pad of paper, 1 die, 1 sand timer and instructions. For 2 to 4 players.

    I would absolutely love to win the Monopoly City 3-D! Prior to having kids, my husband and I always had friends and relatives over to play games. . . we had so much fun, and have been recently talking about starting up game night again! The best place would be for US to start playing again. 🙂 Monopoly was his all-time favorite game growing up, and I'd love the chance to bring this new version into our house for a surprise game night, complete with pizza, snacks, and popcorn!!
