MOM TIP: Keeping Kids Activities Organized


MOM Tip: For as many years back as I can recall I have used a hanging MOM wall calender to record all my kids events, activities and schedules. So, that they could learn to be responsible for their schedules. I used a different color sharpie pen for each child so they could quickly glance at the days ahead and know what they had going on. Each night they could look at this calender and know what they needed to prepare ahead for – Pack the soccer bag, find the dance shoes, make a birthday card for a party they were attending etc. This ONE simple organization tool has helped this mom to run our home a bit smoother each week.

I recently was introduced to a new line of Kid/family calenders that I have begun using in much the same way as the monthly wall calender only this one is week by week, it is personalized with my kids names on it so I no longer have to go hunting for the missing colored sharpie. It even has a magnet so I can keep it on my fridge door easily accessible for my children to check their daily happenings.
