Anytime is a good time for fresh homemade cookies and these are triple delicious with milk chocolate chips, toffee bits and the special touch of sprinkled coarse sea salt on the top of each cookie. Be sure to make a double batch to make freezer wso that you can make cookie balls ourt of the dough and freeze them for later use. I already placed a couple dozen frozen cookie balls in my freezer for those need a fresh cookie times.

Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies with Toffee
Triple delicious cookies with milk chocolate chips, toffee bits and added sea salt sprinkle. These have become a family favorite and I love keeping an extra batch in the freezer ready to bake when those cookie cravings take over.

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Butter - room temperature
- 1/2 Cup Sugar Granulated
- 1 1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar - packed
- 3 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 Cups Chocolate Chips - Milk Chocolate
- 1 1/4 Cup Heath Toffee Bits or other brand
- 1 tbs Coarse Sea Salt - Sprinkle for tops of cookies
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
- Mix together butter, granulated sugar and light brown sugar for approximately 2-3 minutes then add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
- Add in flour, baking soda and salt. Mix on low-med mix until combined then mix in the milk chocolate chips and toffee bits until evenly mixed through dough.
- Use medium sized cookie scoop to create balls (approximately 3 tbs). Place onto cookie sheet about 2 1/2 - 3 inches apart.
- Bake for 12 -14 minutes until edges are browned and cookies are golden brown. Yes to underbake then make to crispy. Once removed from oven immediately sprinkle with sea salt. Place on cooling racks to cool.
- Optional add in 1 Cup chopped walnuts

Additional TIPS
- Place in airtight container with a slice a bread to keep cookies soft.
- Double the ingredients and make two batches so that you place extras in the freezer for later use.
- Freeze the cookie dough : scoop the cookie dough balls onto baking sheet. Place in the freezer allow the cookie balls to freeze for an hour. Once frozen, place them into a zip-top bag or freezer container. When its time to bake them. choose the number you want to bake, place them still frozen onto a lined cookie sheer and add 1 -2 minutes to your baking time. These freeze great for 3 to 4 months When you are ready to bake them, just bake them from frozen. Add 1-2 minutes to the baking time. The perfect quick fix for that chocolate chip cookie craving!
