Children under 6 years old can join Dolly Parton’s FREE book club for kids

In 1995, Dolly Parton launched an exciting new effort, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, USA. Dolly’s vision was to foster a love of reading among preschool children and their families by providing them with the gift of a specially selected book each month.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income.

Each month a  brand-new book from Dolly Parton’s book club arrives in your mailbox.  These books are a mixture of classic and contemporary fiction and non–fiction for children. Children receive  a book appropriate for their age on a variety of themes.

The books sent out from the Dolly Parton Imagination Library inspire kids to have a  love for reading and learning; regard for diversity of people, their roles, culture, and environment; promotion of self-esteem and confidence, appreciation of art and aesthetics  Audio and braille books are also available.   You can read more details about the monthly books by going to  concepts and themes for each age group  section on Dolly Partons website.
