I usually don’t keep soda pop within the home very often unless for special occasions. Besides from consuming a beverage, such as a can of cola, there are a number of surprising reasons to keep one within your fridge.
The cola’s fizzy, acidity, and caffeine is great to use for housekeeping tricks around the house you’ll want to use.
1. Get rid of sticky messes
The phosphoric acid in the cola will help breakdown sticky messes. Just pour the cola on a sticky spot and let it sit for about five minutes or more and then wash it with soap.
2. Remove oil spills
Get rid of the oil spills on your driveway with the help of a can of cola. The sodium in the cola can dissolve greasy stains like oil spills. Pour the can of cola on oil spots and let it sit for a couple hours (I recommend at least three). Then spray the spot with a hose to wash away the cola with the oil.
3. You can cook a can of cola with meat
4. Reduce the pain of stings from wasps
Wasp strings are painful than you can imagine. This is due to the fact that the stinger releases venom that causes a painful sensation around the stinged area. To help reduce the pain just pour the cola over the sting after removing the stinger from the skin.
5. Clean your pots and pans
Cola can help remove the burnt on messes on your pots and pans. All you need to do is pour small layer into the pot or pan and let it sit overnight. Then in the morning you can clean out the mess and wipe away the gunk.
6. Use as a toilet cleaner
Pour a can of cola into the toilet bowl and let it sit for a few hours. Scrub the toilet bowl to get rid of the dirt built up and then give it a flush. This is great if you are out of toilet bowl cleaners.
