In mid-March, Bridgestone Tires invited 24/7 MOMS to their new Tire Launch Event in Las Vegas. Why would Bridgestone invite moms to such an event?  When it comes to safety, economy and comfort, Mom’s make the decisions and they want our help to get the word out. These three factors are vital concerns for a family and purchasing tires is important.   I know most of us are concerned more about the vehicle we drive and what options it has, but aren’t the tires what we rely on most?  Because of my recent trip and all of facts and information I learned, I now have a new understanding and passion for the tires on my vehicle. Maybe tire shopping seems like an intimidating purchase, but I would like to change that point of view.

A great place to start is to look at the tire that was previously on your vehicle. Did you like that tire? Do you want something better?  Did it live up to it’s expected tire mileage? Did you ever feel your car was sluggish when you were going around a curve?  How was the price?  Did you get great value for your hard earned dollar?  A bad tire can change the feel, performance, comfort and safety of a vehicle putting your family at risk.  Below are some things to consider when researching tires.

After test driving several different vehicles, with all of my new information on what to look for and how I’m supposed to feel, Bridgestone tires amazed me!  We drove one vehicle with a competitors tire and it felt good with no complaints.  Then we would drive the same type of vehicle with Bridgestone tires and the difference was night and day . I felt more in control of the vehicle with Bridgestone Tires and it was truly a smoother more comfortable ride every time.  Who knew tires were such a big deal.
