For more than 30 years, Room & Board has focused on the simple idea that good design should be beautiful, affordable and long-lasting. The company works closely with American artisans to offer modern furniture and accessories—even custom pieces—that fit the needs of modern life, with more than 90 percent of its products handcrafted in the U.S. to give customers the best combination of quality and price.
For more than 100 years, Pendleton® has crafted 100% virgin wool into heirloom-quality blankets, pillows and home accessories. With Room & Board’s commitment to American-made products, the retailer is pleased to offer a variety of Pendleton products in its stores.
A family-owned business for six generations, Pendleton is as much a tradition as it is a company. That tradition dates back to 1863, when a skilled English weaver named Thomas Kay immigrated to America’s picturesque Pacific Northwest. The region, with its abundant water supply and moderate weather, also offered ideal conditions for raising sheep and producing wool. There, in what had recently been named the state of Oregon, Kay founded the beginnings of what would eventually become the Pendleton Woolen Mills we know today.
Since the early 1900s, Pendleton has honored America’s greatest national treasures — our National Parks — with a collection of distinctive park blankets. Each blanket has a Pendleton label signifying its authenticity and a special woven label with the park name and image of an important natural feature. 100% pure virgin wool. Dry clean. Made in the USA. Size: Queen.
