Cranberry Sauce
- 4 cups fresh whole cranberries
- 1 cup apple cider or apple juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp clove
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
Directions
Place all ingredients in medium sized sauce pan and bring to a boil stirring as it boils. Once it boils turn the heat down to simmer and place a lid on the pan., allowing it to simmer until the cranberries pop ( takes about 5 to 10 minutes). As the sauce cools it will thicken.
How To Freeze
Using a freezer container – pour the cooled cranberry sauce into it, then label and date.
