DIY Resurrection Eggs – Counting Down To Easter

Over 10 years ago we began a new family tradition called “Resurrection Eggs”.   This tradition consists of one dozen plastic eggs filled with various symbols that are used to teach the story of Easter to my children.  The Easter story is broken down into 12 parts to go with each egg. As we read each part of the story the children open each egg to discover the symbol that goes with that part of the story.

This tradition creates a fun opportunity to share the Ester story with your children.
