While Marketing camera accessories at Kodak, Jill E. Wight wondered why there were no camera bags that were aesthetically appealing to women. In 2007, she teamed up with another former Kodak executive Gail Backal and they revolutionized the camera accessories field when they launched jill-e designs and started selling the first camera bags designed especially for women. Targeting female photographers they produced a line of stylish alternatives to drab, black male-oriented bags.
Now the bags, which come in suede, leather and fabrics in contemporary colors, are being discovered as technology bags by recessionistas who want to extend the life of their electronic purchases. jill-e bags come in a range of sizes and the whimsical polka dot padded interior has configurable compartments offering flexible use to carry photo or tech gear or whatever you need when traveling. Moms have found the dividers work great for separating snacks from diapers and toys. All of the bags fit the FAA requirements for carry on bags. Each bag comes with a matching wristlet that offers protection as well as style and is just the right size for a slim camera, iPod or phone.
We have all spent a lot of money on all our technology gear; why not protect it in style?! jill-e bags are uberchic and ubercheap.
